The life and health of your teenager can depend, primarly, on food: what he/she eats, how much he/she eats, how he/she eats, when he/she eats, where he/she eats and why he/she eats! The human being, as a base, functions on chemical reactions and electric impulses, stimulated and, sometimes, generated, by aliments, combinations of foods, emotions, environment, etc.

Alimentation is not a fix standard for an entire life, aliments having diverse properties and functions in the organism, which in certain times, the ones which we, popularly, consider healthy, it is possible to do us less good and the ones which we, popularly, consider unhealthy, it is possible to do us the greatest good, everything depending on the moment, combinations of aliments, state, emotion, momentary urgencies, medical conditions, aware or unaware deficiencies, aware or unaware gorging, weather, hormonal level, living environment, specific action, microbiome, etc.

An adequate nutrition, well structured and being thought personalized, can help man to reach his maximum potential, in certain conditions and situations required from him. It all starts, sometimes, with a simple nutrition.

We, NUTRITIE FARA BARIERE, want to glorify the Nutritional Diversity and Freedom, whose essence crosses and envelops the entire Earth, through the natural choices, tastes and desires of the human, in the New Millennium.

For your teenager you need nutritionists and/or specialists, whom you personally choose, pleasing people for you, who can realize the nutritional vision, adequate to his/her style and desire. There is not a best nutrition generally valid, but there is the best nutrition for each individual teenager, based on beliefs, needs, tastes, habits, microbiome, etc.

 BEGINNING NOTE (VERY IMPORTANT)

Starting the Teenager nutrition with us is conditional on participation in the chosen nutritional program, only for 28 consecutive calendar days, from the starting moment of the nutritional program (called by us one month, as period of the ongoing program), following that we will decide from month to month (in the situation in which you would like to continue), if we will continue the chosen nutritional program or any other nutritional program, with your teenager. These decisions are made depending on the chosen program and on the results obtained during this period, on the feedback of you and your teenager, on the client-specialist relational compatibility, etc.

We do not wish to continue if there is not a maximum collaboration, if there is no seriousness, if there are no results expected and observed by us, etc. The lack of results (coming from a prolonged nutritional activity lacking perseverance, correctness, etc.) may influence metabolically and functionally the whole body, affecting both the current change process, but also the one in the future, of your teenager, possibly, over a short/long period of time, by altering certain metabolic reactions, reverse, of formation, in the desired and proposed direction. Usually, in teenagers, change being more accelerated and slightly more unstable, we will inform you briefly after 10 days, if your teenager starts to have a favorable response or not (observed by us), and if in the following 18 days there will be no changes for the better, towards the objective chosen and proposed together with you at the beginning, we shall decide to interrupt the program with your teenager at 28 consecutive calendar days (called by us one month, as period of the ongoing program). This decision is made, if we can not collaborate together effectively and if your teenager does not have the results expected and observed by us, in order to prevent the situation exemplified above (of reverse influence), therefore protecting your teenager. We hope you do not consider too audacious of us, the more severe manner adopted, in order to inform you about our minimum continuity conditions. All these work in common benefit of both you and us.

When it comes to your teenager, it is not always easy, to decide with whom to start and carry out complex programs of nutrition and sport or just nutrition, in order to feel that you are pleased with your choice and that you make the right choice for him/her. We would definitely not want to be your collaborators, in certain circumstances that might put you in awkward conjunctures.

The beginning of a performing nutrition, with a certain specific, is not a passing affair. Major and somewhat stable changes do not happen over the course of a week, but on a longer term, depending on multiple personal factors and requires a steel discipline. Time has demonstrated, for us, that certain actions that are nutritionally beneficial for the adolescent, must be supported, explained and introduced with an understanding, but still firm attitude, adapted, of course, to each individual. If you want a change for the body, health and spirit of your adolescent, some of his/her habits and desires, whether had or acquired, must be discussed and influenced. Your teenager can modify these habitudes (which can sometimes change the direction of his/her life) through patience, perseverance, discipline, a good chosen guidance, a strong trust from you, a motivated and joyfull attitude, etc.

Out of the desire to offer a superior quality services, the maximum number of accepted clients, possibly, can be 1 (one) – to at most 10 (ten) people in Total (Nutrition and Sport, together, but each service having a separate price one by the other and being paid as two different services, separate from each other, or only strictly Nutrition, without doing sport, with us or with anyone else other than us), depending on the chosen sport program, on the chosen nutrition, on the degree of complexity, etc., following that the possibility of new clients coming, to be realized at the moment when we consider that this is beneficial for you, as well as for us, this criterion not only being given by the release of a place, but also of our professional availability at that time.

During adolescence, eating habits are not yet matured. Everything is transitional, from one habit to another, from one taste to another. Sometimes, the different perception of your adolescent from yours is normal, but we can complement his/her knowledge, through a beneficial informational contribution for him/her, whatever his/her beliefs may be at the time. The position of the body (hunched, to the side, etc.) requires a totally different nutrition because of the ingestion mode – deglutition (ingurgitation) and of the mastication mode of the aliments. We will try to take into account: aliments cultivation standards, especially in Europe (degree of spraying with pesticides, the way foods and vegetables are grown, etc. – these actions being necessary, usually, on a worldwide level, so that they have certain special qualities -> keeping as long as possible in stores, avoiding pests in foods, prolonging food quality during very long transports, improving foods (with nutrients)…, etc.<), we also try to take into account the standards of European Food Safety Authority – EFSA, JECFA, JEMRA, Codex Alimentarius, as well as the European Journal EUR-lex. Also, we try to keep an agenda, with the new worldwide trends, having as a point of information, the various protocols and information related to the nutritional factor, provided by USDA and FDA. We will try to create through the food combinations, the natural physical process, so that the body of your teenager retains what it needs and to efficiently eliminate as much as possible, the substances that are not necessary for the body (substances used for treating, preserving and growth of foods, etc.).

THE IMPORTANCE OF A NUTRITION

The importance is given by the goal or objective, by the duration and by the expected result or better said, what you want to achieve with this nutrition (behavioural change, increasing the power of concentration, highlight of the current potential, increasing performance in sport, correction of certain habits already learned, deficiency balancing in collaboration with your doctor, etc.).

It is very important, that during adolescence, the teenager has an adequate nutrition, that supports in a healthy way, the physical evolution (the phenomenon of development and growth, which in this period, sometimes, can be of major importance, etc.) and his/her mental evolution – the teenager must not be affected by possibly inappropriate restrictions – the adoption by the adult of an eating style influenced by beliefs or needs (inappropriate standards for the adolescent), which is not necessarly needed and beneficial for him/her; sometimes, these actions being done unconsciously, out of care and love. These things can lead to a state of inferiority complex (he/she may feel inferior to other people around him/her) and repression (he/she may eat on the sly, precisely what is forbidden to him/her, may tend to exaggerate with the aliments that are forbidden to him/her, may develop repulsion towards foods that are imposed on him/her excessively, without his/her consent, etc.). Already in adolescence, various beliefs may emerge, which can sometimes be borrowed and appropriated, without being realised, and which can influence the direction of the adolescent, in a positive or negative way, depending on the stages of adolescence and on the type of influence (colleagues, entourage, etc.). That is why, he/she must constantly be educated and taught good principles, in the nutritional direction suitable for him/her. At the same time, it can be quite a sensitive period for your teenager, that is why we will focus as much as possible on highlighting his/her physical potential, implicitly mental too, through the nutritional process.

HOW MUCH TIME IS NECESSARY

  • usually, if a response from the body is desired within the required parameters, it should be taken into account as time, from 6 consecutive weeks, up to 12 consecutive weeks, minimum, even exceeding these dates, sometimes (earlier than 6 weeks or later than 12 weeks), depending on requirements and needs, given by age, gender, etc. Habituation effect may occur in the body, as a response of it to the generated stimuli (creating a state of minimal comfort), from 3 weeks to 6 weeks, during which period the first, somewhat stable result should be observed, without large fluctuations in weight or symptoms, specific to the new habits, as well as, possibly, the acquisition of new habits that may help health, concentration and personal development in the future. Beneath, we give an example of what could possibly happen, in a body of an adolescent, at the beginning of a new type of nutrition:
  • At 4 hours, the activation of certain additional stimuli in the chosen direction, may begin; at 6 hours, certain substances and hormonal influences may activate a minimum of requirements needed by the body; at 11 hours may appear some of the first, possibly more significant electro-chemical modifications, in the body, to support the personal direction; at 18 hours, possibly, there is a minimum of unaware habituation of the body, to the new chosen nutritional direction; at 24 hours, the first symptoms specific to the chosen direction, may occur (the degree of saturation or hunger increases or decreases, etc.); at 36 hours, the body can already create the first organisational impulse in the desired direction (the body may get into an easy pattern, with the new nutritional variant); at 44 hours, the organism may adapt, in a more favourable, aggressively/performant mode, some parameters, both physical and mental (expressed, sometimes, in the stronger desire to succeed, etc.); at 52 hours, small culinary desires (new or old) may appear, stimulated by chemical changes in the body, through the newly introduced nutrition; at 61 hours, possibly, an increased energy level may already appear; at 70 hours, different response patterns may appear, favourable to the new habits, with the chosen nutritional variant.

    In 3 days from the beginning, the correction of the parameters of the body and its adaptability to the new nutritional stage, begins. Up to 3 weeks, oscillatory changes and modifications may appear at the psychological level (happiness or sadness, optimism or negligence, etc.) and at the physical level (immediate increase in volume or a faster decrease than expected, appearance of new smells or disappearance of certain existing body odors, etc.), with a personally assessment, of your teenager, for the better (he/she enjoys the rapid results) or not (mistrust of success appears), but these are starting stages, which will stabilize along the way. If in 4 weeks there are not some changes that we evaluate as a positive response to the progress of your adolescent, we have to interrupt the program with him/her, for the reasons explained in the “Beginning note”.

 

A habituation threshold of the organism, generally, in aware form, can occur in 18-20 days, so that later it starts to become a normality and a desire, in the subconscious, to have the same habit learned during the 20 days, and in a permanent lack of awareness form, the habit can develop over a much longer period of time.

NUMBER OF ALIMENTATIONS FOR 4 WEEKS
(MINIMUM STANDARD)

4 (four) alimentations – changed weekly – what this means:

– on the mutually agreed starting date, you will receive for your adolescent, a nutrition created for 7 consecutive calendar days (each day will be different or not, depending on the chosen purpose), changed every week, depending on the data obtained from the adolescent and from you, about the evolution, perception, adaptation, etc., until the completion of 4 weeks – this means 28 consecutive days of continuous nutrition, without interruption, thus called by us, the completion of 1 (one) month of nutrition.

THE EXPECTED RESULT OF THIS NUTRITION

The expected result may differ, depending on the response of each individual organism, to the totality of external and internal stimuli. The teenager must have confidence in himself/herself, but at the same time, it would be a good thing if you also try to give him/her confidence too, if moments of mental weakness occur. At the same time, he/she should try, if necessary, with your help, to overcome his/her daily challenges, trying to counteract all the stimuli that may disturb the good chosen direction and to develop, on his/her own, the ability to eat, according to his/her real needs. It would be good for him/her to try to learn (with your help), gradually, to distinguish, over time, needs and desires (cravings).

In the body of your adolescent there is a perfect harmony and it functions according to well-established laws, thus having the capability to regenerate, to rebalance metabolically where necessary, bringing about perfectly functional progress, in what is desired to be achieved, in his/her body. This is why, NUTRITIE FARA BARIERE attaches great importance to this human temple, if we can call it that, trying to influence it with the utmost care, discretion and humbleness, through food combinations specially designed for your adolescent and trying to take into account many variables, in order to get as close as possible to that which is perfect, namely, the human body.

WHAT IT DOES NOT CONTAIN: it does not contain suggestions of vitamins, minerals, amino acids or any other type of alimentary supplement; so it does not contain meals composed of alimentary supplements, in any way, this service being done separately, on request, if desired or if it is really necessary.

ADVANTAGES: we adapt nutritionally, depending on the desires of your adolescent.

DISADVANTAGES: it can not be kept by other persons, by other teenagers or by children, but it can only be kept by the teenager for whom it is intended, otherwise there may be quite serious consequences.

SAFETY WARNING: – allergies (if the adolescent is allergic, please, be very careful about the foods he/she and/or you suggest), health conditions (be very careful to specify, exactly, the conditions the teenager has, if any, following an accurate medical diagnosis).

  • In the nutrition given by us, days can not be changed between them. Everything follows a well-defined direction and path, depending on the desired end goal. !Always, before starting a nutrition, you should perform a medical check-up for your adolescent, to know if there are any diseases or illnesses, that require a different type of nutrition or to know if  he/she is allowed to do this type of nutrition!

DIRECTIONS: according to the desires and needs, communicated by your adolescent and by you, to us.

  • it would be better not to have that form of impatience or desperation, neither from the side of your teenager, nor from your side, towards him/her, to see immediate results, because this determines changes at a hormonal level (the teenager, sometimes, may sense the nervousness or anxiety of his/her parent(s) about his/her goal) and may decisively influence the result.
  • Another common situation is the misconception that the metabolism of the adolescent can not be influenced, because it exists in the family, as a genetic inheritance. According to our personal experiences, as well as studies and research done by various specialists in the field, this belief is not so true. Why we say this – because in 6 months, the DNA structure can be influenced, in 18-20 days the habit had before can already be changed and the body may respond, from 3 weeks to 6 weeks, to different stimuli and by 6 months, a first pattern may be created with the new structured information (introduced – memorized by new habits, new sensations, new emotions, new physical structure, new neuronal-nervous connections, etc.), on which the body can function differently, so that later, by 3 years, it can try to appropriate, in a somewhat definitive form, up to new habits, what it has learned as new.

 

VARIOUS GENERAL RULES IN NUTRITION (INFORMATIVE ROLE)

WHEN EATING, IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE TEENAGER:

– to adopt a posture that is as correct as possible (not on the back, not on one side, not standing, not walking, etc. – if the adolescent does not have to, due to a medical situation, needs, emergencies, etc.). The general-correct position for serving the meal is seated, the torso being in a vertical position;

– to masticate longer the food with a solid or partially solid texture (until its texture becomes like a paste) – this being done differently, depending on the aliment being eaten (he/she can not masticate a yogurt, the liquid part of a soup, etc., which do not have a solid texture). Also, there may exist situations where some aliments with a solid or liquid texture may have different melting or absorption properties (accelerated or slowed down), as well as taste or nutritive efficiency, in contact with saliva, depending on how long the food is kept in the mouth (solid/liquid chocolate etc.);

– when food is masticated more, certain substances in the mouth and body are activated, which can help more in the digestion process and efficient assimilation, resulting in greater benefit to the body;

– to not talk during the meal (he/she may even choke or eat more than he/she needs, without realizing it…, etc.);

– to not watch television or anything else that might distract his/her attention from the eating moment (the taste may be different, because of lack of awareness – aliments may have another taste and properties, if he/she is aware during eating them – thus: he/she may feel fuller more quickly, feel less full, nutritional efficiency is better, etc.);

– to not rush to immediately finish his/her food (rushing can sometimes give a state of anxiety, during a meal, occasionally influencing taste, assimilation, etc.);

– to not eat under stress (but if it is indeed necessary or if he/she has to eat in such a situation, it would be better if the food had a structure and a nutritional value that is easier to assimilate, so as not to stress the body even more, and sometimes it is possible that the food in question to calm him/her down, depending on its composition and structure – for example, you can offer your teenager, at that moment, the most pleasent aliment for him/her, that brings him/her joy or if his/her preferred aliment is less nutritious, you can or he/she can combine it with another more nutritious aliment, of your or his/her personal choice, depending on his/her age);

 

WHEN DRINKING WATER, IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE TEENAGER:

– to drink water with small – medium sips (water absorption is much more efficient in the tissues, when drinking this way – drinking water in a more accelerated manner has other benefits and properties);

– preferably, not to drink water during the meals (only if it is indeed necessary);

– preferably, to drink water at room temperature;

– in case he/she has little water available and he/she is thirsty, he/she can keep the water in his/her mouth for a longer time, before swallowing it, to help him/her feel a partial sense of being full of water, until he/she can correctly hydrate;

MEAL TIMES: Breakfast – 07.00 AM  – 11.00 AM (breakfast can be eaten during this time); Lunch – 11.00 AM – 04.00 PM (lunch can be eaten during this time); Dinner – 04.00 PM – 09.30 PM (dinner can be eaten during this time – it is good to know, that dinner should be eaten at least one and a half hours before going to sleep, but it sometimes can be eaten even less time before going to sleep, the time varying depending on the texture, nutritional value and properties of the aliments, food combinations and also the volume ingested, etc. When your adolescent starts nutrition with us, we will explain you more, why the times are like this and how the eating time can be better managed, etc. Depending on his/her preferences, the number of the meals can be modified, etc.

GENERAL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

POSSIBLE SIGNS AND RISKS OF NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY

The first sign of a possible nutritional deficiency that a human generally feels is an imbalance in the body which may manifest itself through certain symptoms, including: certain pains, lack of energy, different digestion (exaggerated or low), paleness, irascibility or lack of reactions, etc. Nutritional deficiency, in some cases, may be an indirect precursor of disease, may alter or influence the regeneration capacities of the body or can deviate the possibility of absorption of other essential nutrients to human body, thus accentuating the nutritional deficiency. In teenagers, in general, if the alimentary education has a beneficial course and if it is carefully structured, they can have a permanent balance. This is why, we should pay attention to what they eat, how they eat, how much they eat, when they eat, where they eat and why they eat! The food is good to be diversified and well structured throughout the day. If there are situations in which it is not possible to eat food of high nutritional value, at approximately the same time of day, it is good, though, that a minimum nutritional balance to be maintained, in the situation had or arisen.
